Outpatient Hand & Wrist Surgery

Fractures, arthritis, and other conditions can be successfully treated with outpatient hand and wrist surgery

The human hand contains 27 bones, 14 of which are the phalanges distributed among its five digits — four fingers and a thumb. Each hand also has five metacarpal bones and eight carpal bones. Fingers contain some of the densest areas of nerve endings in the body. They also have the greatest positioning capability of the body. The two bones of the lower arm — the radius and the ulna — meet at the hand to form the wrist.

The most common condition requiring hand and wrist surgery is wrist fractures. It is by no means the only condition causing hand and/or wrist pain. If you are experiencing hand or wrist pain, give us a call to schedule an apportionment!
