Open house guests try endoscopic surgery
Seaside Surgery Center Hosts Fun- and Fact-Filled Ribbon Cutting Celebration
NAPLES, Fla. – The physicians and staff of Seaside Surgery Center recently welcomed approximately 150 guests to the new facility at a public open house. Seaside occupies 7,000 square feet at 1879 Veterans Park Drive in Naples, Florida. It is the only Ambulatory Surgery Center in Southwest Florida to offer same-day outpatient total joint replacement surgery.
Guests toured the Center’s two oversized operating rooms, where they were treated to various demonstrations. Staff was on hand to answer questions about hip and knee replacement using hip and knee joint implant models.
Visitors also had the opportunity to try their hand at endoscopic surgery. Under the watchful eye of Stryker® sales associate Ted Anderson, the would-be surgeons maneuvered delicate instruments in a quest to remove a peanut embedded in a red pepper.
In a twist on a traditional ribbon-cutting ceremony, the surgeon-partners wielded scalpels and medical scissors to cut a red ribbon, formally opening the Center.
